Colony Plaza

The lighthouse facade atop the Colony Plaza Shopping Center, built in the vein of old Key West, reaches a zenith of about 53 feet. The figurative beacon is a highlight of the 130,000-square-foot retail center at the Morse Boulevard extension at County Road 466A.

The project, a joint venture of The Villages and St. Petersburg’s Sembler Company is anchored by a Publix Supermarket. This project incorporates the best of The Villages’ architectural design standards. This project was built above most standards for neighborhood retail centers, but it’s the lighthouse facade that most consumers will notice first.
